The Hawaii State Art Museum is situated on the 2nd floor of the No.1 Capitol District Building. The Hawaii State Foundation on Culture and the Arts operates the museum. The museum is composed of 3 galleries. It features dynamic temporary exhibitions as well as permanent exhibits of Hawaiian Art. The collection of 132 works from 105 different artists is reminiscent of the Hawaiian cultural heritage.
